I don't know about you but I am jumping up and down for joy!! Denni is new to our program and this will be his first litter for Moonstruck. After much searching for a healthy, well-tempered boy with the blue-eyed gene, we found him and he is even better than we hoped for! Denni is everything anyone could ever want in a dog and this amazing temperament will pass into his puppies as it has passed into him. Dotti is a 4th generation Moonstruck girl with her lineage going all the way back to our first Bernese, Rosie. This is a line we have cultivated for over a decade and now we will be bringing 5th generation Moonstruck puppies into the world in the New Year!! We are SOOOOO excited and you should be, too! This is a dream pairing that will produce outstanding family puppies and there is conceivable potential for therapy-capable temperaments in this litter, as well. This is Lunette's first litter! We are sooooooo very excited about it! These beautiful wee babes will be rediculusly sweet natured and I will bet lean towards great therapy-companion temperaments. Once upon a time, there was a boy who was raised by a seriously crazy dog lady. This boy was always indifferent to dogs as they were just a part of his normal life. He was always helpful with them and had very good animal husbandry, but a dog-lover he was not. I would call it a dog-tollerator, lol! Then one day he was saddled with a puppy to take care of as there were no other puppies around and she was too little to be with older puppies or adult dogs unsupervised. That puppy was Lunette. When it can time to sell Lunette, that little boy - who was now nearly 14 - came to me and begged me not to place her. How very special must a dog be to a boy who has seen more puppies in his lifetime than he can shake a stick at? It's true. Lunette (we call her Luna at home), is a shockingly amazing little animal. She is very sweet and kind and extremely gentle... extremely! She is empathetic and completely non-predatory. She is a MASTER snuggle-bug all day, but she is also an extreme athlete when you take her hiking. She has the absolute perfect balance for the every-day family. Paired with Willy, an animated potato with a wonderful, gentle, knows-no-enemy kind of guy, these puppies are going to knock it right out of the park! Here's the caveat: We have not gotten around to health testing Lunette yet. It's been a very busy year with the relocation from West to East Coast, and as hard as it sounds to forget something this big, I did. I thought I had done her in BC before I left. I did not. Welcome to peri-menopause. She will be done later this year once she is finished up with her puppies. Now, Lunette comes from a line of dogs with passing grades, so you can look at her mother Toque and father Patch. Maternal grandmother and grandfather Amelia and Rocco. Maternal great-granny and great-papa Denver and Andy. All males just mentioned are purchased from other breeders so I don't have their health testing lineage, but we only buy from other breeders that screen their stock. I do feel like a bit of an idiot, lol, but it is what is is! I can't undo it! There is no impact to the warranty we provide with each puppy and I am more than positive that Lunette is going to pass her tests no issues.

Her last litter with Willy, who shares the same therapy-temperament maternal lineage as Fonzie, knocked it out of the park. This pairing is a VERY unique one! Most breeders will not purposefully put two dogs together that will have a good chance at producing a lot of unfurnished puppies, but I will if the match is a nice one to make! Abby is the most loyal dog you will ever meet. She will walk thru fire for me. All she needs in this world is to be loved and touched. She is an amazing girl who is a natural farm dog with not predatory instinct whatsoever. Denni is the same, except maybe even better?! Denni has an OUTSTANDING temperament. He is the best of the best! These two dogs will make amazing copies of themselves in their puppies! We are accepting names for this litter now, because there will be the potential to have unfurnished coats at a 50/50 chance (just the same as boy/girl is a 50/50 chance), so we may see 8 puppies with 6 of them unfurnished or 9 puppies with only one unfurnished. If you are looking for a big dog with an unfurnished coat, like the Bernese but a dog with more varied genetic background, this is your litter! And on top of that, we have a 50/50 chance at blue eyes like Denni's! The furnished coats in this litter will be more like Denni's. He has a fairly typical, coarse, slower growing F1 poodle cross coat. He does shed a bit. This litter is not a great one if you have allergies in the household.
