Penny

Penny is a unique addition to the Moonstruck family! She comes from a long line of Moonstruck dogs reaching all the way back to our matriarch Muffin through her mother Addie and her grandmother Bernie! In addition to Penny's stellar family-friendly temperament, she boasts a very rare form of merle called "atypical merle". Atypical merle causes the coat colour to adopt a strange huge to it that changes a black coat to a purpley-charcoal colour that I am using "mauve" to describe it. On a chocolate coat the hue is a cafe colour. Click on Addie's name to see this expression as Addie is the one who has gifted this gene to her daughter. Without these gene, Addie would have been a chocolate coloured dog. This colour is going to be a special Moonstruck project!  It will take some years yet to see where it goes!
