Duckie

Duckie is a dog that I never meant keep. I bred her litter and had not intended to select from the litter, HOWEVER, every once in a while a VERY special puppy is born that I absolutely cannot part with and that puppy was Duckie! From about 3 weeks old I knew she was MY special girl. No, she didn't have a fun, flashy colour. No, she didn't have a really high quality non-shedding coat. There were better puppies with more flashy colours and very strong coats in the litter I could have chosen from, but Duckie was the one that called to me and burrowed her way into my heart. You may or may not know that we keep most of our breeding dogs in Guardian Homes (families of their own so I don't end up with 72 dogs!). Duckie is MY dog, living with me forever. She is a wonderful dog on all fronts with ZERO personality flaws! She is smart, willing, funny, kind, cuddly, and being 62% Bernese doesn't have the Bernese stubborn-toddler trait. While Duckie might not be a "looker" in the doodle world, she is everything anyone could want in a dog and then some. Anyone would be so lucky to have a Duckie.
